I want a GPU that is cheap as possible but also can run the majority of games at medium-high settings.
Here Are My Choices:
GTX 650
GTX 650Ti
GTX 650Ti Boost
GTX 660
Radeon 7770
Radeon 7790
Radeon 7850
Which of these are able to run medium-high settings for these games :
SimCity
Arma 3
Minecraft
Sims 3/4
Battlefield 4
Tomb Raider
Assassin's Creed 4
NBA 2K13/2K14
GTA V
Shootmania Storm
Mirrors Edge
DayZ
Warframe
Thanks

I'd say that your best option is a 7850/7870, but it all depends on the resolution that you're playing at, if you're playing at 1080p then I definitely recommend a 7870 if you can afford it.

From what i understand the GTX660 and 7850 are on par with one another, I went for the 660 due to the Radeon equivalent having one additional power input requirement and i didn't want to use an adaptor or buy a different PSU (lazy me)
I would say though, if you were considering a 7870, get the Sapphire 7870XT or PowerColor equivalent. They are Tahiti LE cards and overclocked i hear are quite the performer. As for the 660 i have, it runs everything i've thrown at it with no issues and theres always room for overclocking.

The 7850 can max all those out depending on your other system specs. If your from uk check these out:

Those game bungles with the ati cards are good value for money.

I would go with the 650 Ti. Best card at its price point in my opinion! All of those cards wouldn't be bad choices though.

Since someone brought up price points, I thought I'd give my 2 cents. The best card that has the capability to obtain amazing performance for a low price is definitely the 7850. My 7850 is currently running at 1257/5800, which just so happens to be nearly equivalent to the performance of a 7950 stock. Here's an article for more: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
It's obvious OP doesn't have the money for a 7870, so stop recommending it.
