Well you could always try a new GPU, and if you still aren't happy buy Intel anyway then no money lost...cha-ching!

Joking aside, yes a graphics card will vastly improve your gaming performance. Yes bulldozer sucks, but with tweaking it still holds its own.

I would go with a hashwell cpu and a z87 motherboard. Unless you get can get that 3570k for a good price.

I am getting the 660 TI for sure but I'm getting a MSI one because my current GPU is MSI and I'll just use it until I get the 66 TI

MSI's cooling solution is supposed to be good aswell.

Yeap and with the Twin Frozr design the cooling is even better but will the 3 GB card be a good bit better than the 2 GB card because there's quite a price difference between the two ?

I've seen loads of benchmarks for the 2 GB version but I can't find any for the 3 GB

It's not like you will get much of a performance difference between the two depending on the resolution you will be playing at.

I play my games at 720P with my current rig but I want to max out on 1080P an get good fps with the new rig im upgrading to.

2Gb is good enough then. My old 4850 was512 mbs and it worked well at 1080.
