I know that there is a big Jtag discussion but i need to know what the difference is now! haha anyways..
My jtag has a problem where everytime i turn it on it sits there and it wont even boot into xell.. i have only used it twice and each time less than ten minutes plz tell me which one i need because everyone said i need a reball or reflow and i dont know the difference.. (noob status)! I know u guys will help me out u always do! thanks TTG ur the best!

do you have 3 red rings if not the jtag hack could be hiding the error but reflow is when you put no clean flux under the chip and heat up slowly with a top heater and a preheater tell you get to 180 - 210 then you slowly go down temps the shut off let cool and reball is when you take the chip off and put new solder balls under reball cost way more then reflow. i do both so contact me if you would like a service.

I dont have the RROD it just sits there and dosent do a thing could it be a bad nand flash?

it could did you flash a bad image or the jtag hack is not letting the error code show. ones again send it to my shop and ill tell you what is wrong do you have the original nand because yo will need that if it is a bad flash and have 12.35 return shipping and if i can fix it ill tell you how much and pay ill fix pay the 12.35 usd return shipping on top of the service and done.

I dont have the nand the guy i bought it from didnt give it to me and when i asked for it he went out of business so i am out of luck...

well do you have the cpu key if you do you could get a donar nand and read you nand that is on the console a create a image with that and flash it and you should try a reflow and see if it just needs a reflow.

its bad bad flash, sounds like a soft brick to me. i can fix it for $20.00, its a simple proccess of extracting the nand and rebuilding it and then flashing it on there again and it will boot up and will be all fixed.
