I have this band going on with me and my friend for about a couple months. He wrote 1 song by himself and 2 songs with me and I came up with the band name. But he is in another band which makes me think hes stealing my songs. I want to end the band though because he really doesn't try anymore or is enthusiastic about it. I feel I should keep the songs we co wrote because he has a band and I helped alot on the co write songs and I came up with the name and I feel I should get to keep it.

Is there any idea a way I could tell him that I should keep the name and the songs?

Any Help or Advice?

Well mate it sounds to me like your friend dont care about your band no more, If he truelly a friend you should speak to him and explain how you feel and your thoughts if he is a tru friend he will understand and make a good decision.

OR

If he dont listen to you and becomes a bit** then thump him one always works:)

No, just sit down and have a talk with him. Tell him how you feel and give him a chance to say how he feels. Then you can work it out from there.
