I did not like halo 4 one bit. I just didn't like the abilities, I mean it was alrite at first. but then I just started not to like it.
if they made halo 2 online playable again. I would defiantly go back to that.

Yeh that's because its is complete sh*t compared to Halo 2 or 3 but no one plays that either.
also if Halo2 remake comes out they better use Halo2's multiplayer and this bullshit that have started using it was ok in reach but now it is just crap.

It depends what time you're playing, in the mornings it's empty for me. However Late at night there's atleast 1,000 in each playlist.

-TooSucky wrote You have to realize, If halo 2 was still playable online, more people would be playing Halo 2 than Halo 4. Im sure there are plenty of people on Halo 3 right now. and that game came out years ago. The game started to fade when Halo ODST came out.
Reach was a good game, but all of the special armor effects and new weapons and whatnot kind of ruined it for me. It was a great idea to change it up, but I would love to have Halo 2 and 3 come back

What do you mean when ODST came out? That wasn't even really 'a game'. More like an expansive pack (And the complete multiplayer set for H3, map packs).

Hah. Halo 3 only started to fade well after MW2 came out. It easily reached 130k-150k every weekend leading up to Reach. And Reach really wasn't that good of a game. Changing it up was one of the worst decisions they made, as Reach also lost a lot of its population very quickly.

All of the Halo's had a similar gameplay standard. ODST switched it up a little bit. Which, in turn, led to reach changing up the game a good bit

I see why they changed it up. There were many people who wanted something new. Obviously it wasn't a great decision to change it up, but it was still a good idea. It added a whole new playing environment.

When I said it started to fade around when ODST came out, I mean how the games were being made. Not by how many people were online. ODST came with a multiplayer disk, so many people bought ODST just for the maps. Since it got good reviews when people bought them, because of the maps, they figured ODST was also getting good reviews. But im getting off topic.

Clearly a ton of people were online weekends prior to Reach's launch. That is because it was Halo's next multiplayer game. Everyone loved their multiplayer. Even those who wouldn't play campaign would get the game. But ODST's approach to change the game up a little bit resulted in a huge change in reach, and faded off the game.

Sorry if you're ignorance couldn't follow that.

As "-TooSucky" said, most people would prefer to play Halo 2 multiplayer, as would I. Halo 4 was better than Reach in my opinion, but it just can't compare to the classics, as it was also said, too many new things were thrown into the mix too fast.

I enjoy Halo 4, but I just cannot seem to stay playing it for more than an hour. It's just not the same anymore.
