they are the same exact thing, except that the xenons dont have the hdmi port, thats all.
and xenons take both types of kvs if he is going to be doing for lobby's.

I would rather perfer zephry cause xenons overheat fast. Unless it has a 12v fan. I have 2 xenons and both overheated EVEN with a 12v mod

nahh mine been going for a good 7 months i think and have had no problems on it.
everything is stock on it, nothing upgraded.

Motherboard Comparisons and Info

Xenons
Good for hosting lobbies due to the fact they take ALL KVs. They have a high chance of Rrod and do not have HDMI


Zephyrs
I find them to be pointless because they still are prone to Rrod. They only use type 2 KVs but they do have HDMI.


Falcons
Extremely low chance of Rrod. Only uses type 2 KVs and has HDMI.


Jaspers
They only use Type 2 KVs and have HDMI. They have a 16/256/512 MB NAND compared to the normal 16 MB NAND which makes everything different for them. Some rebooters dont work for jaspers so they can suck at times. Most expensive because they were the last jtaggable motherboard made.


Opus
The Rarest type of motherboard. The Opus motherboard for the xbox 360 was released in June of 2008. The opus was a modified version of the Falcon and was released for the returned Xenon consoles which has Red ring of death hardware issue. Which they replaced the motherboard to an Opus. The Opus did not come with HDMI and was only used for Xenon repairs. Because of Microsoft replacing the motherboards instead of replacing the consoles, this saved Microsoft Millions.

8498 and Higher
Any console with a kernel 8498 and higher have been patched to stop the hack.

7371 and lower
Any console with the 7371 kernel or a lower version of the kernel are most likely vulnerable to the hack.You will have to dump the NAND to find out

Kernels 7357/7363/7371
These 3 Kernels are what you may call the "iffy" kernels. Some contain a patched CB which makes the console un-exploitable.
