I want to build a PC, but I dont really know anything about it. I dont want to have a gaming PC, I just want to maybe start editing CoD montages and have an overall fast computer. Could someone help me by telling me what I would need? I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

What i'd recommend if you can afford it would be a Haswell i3 or possibly i5 system with 8GB of RAM. The reason i say that is the new Haswell range of CPU's from Intel are extremely power efficient when idle and still perform very well under load. Also rendering is sped up by the amount of RAM in your computer and to a less extent the speed of that RAM.

If you had a rough price in your head on how much you'd like to spend the TTG crew could recommend you a build if you wanted to build yourself.
