I would say iPhone 5. My mom just got one and it is great! My stepdad has had a Galaxy and says iPhone is better!

iPhone 5 is better! I have been using iPhones over the years with no problems! Also the iPhone 5 screen is hard to break!

I'm not trying to hate, but on here you're not gonna get anything but fanboys saying what phone they have is better.

If I were you, I'd watch or read unbiased reviews for both phones, then make your decision.

The Samsung galaxy s4 has by far more features than the iPhone. The iPhone has always been the same and its boring so why not upgrade to something better?

Just my opinion that iPhone's are pretty boring.

I personally have the 5, I had the choice of both but I chose the 5 because iv had apple phones in the past so I knew how to work it; to be critical its just the same as the 4/4s just a bit faster and slimmer

Iv been tempted by the Samsungs lately tho.

The s4 is much better by a mile,iphone is nothing if it's not jailbroken.

It depends on what you like, both have completely different styles, the iphone is more user friendly and the galaxy is a little less user friendly but has more features, you can add a lot of new features to the iphone 5 by jailbreaking it (i did that the first day i bought it). Ive also owned a galaxy and it is very nice but i'd say go with the iphone 5 and get the life proof case for it, i dont really need it cause i dont drop my phone often but you can record video under water and you cant do that with a galaxy cause they dont make waterproof cases for them, at least i don't think they do...

I would say the s4. I've had an iPhone before and don't get me wrong, they are good phones. However the lack file extensions and expandable memory is a down for me. I've the samsung galaxy note 2 and it is amazing. So if you don't like the plastic cover then for the iPhone but if you want more customisation then go for the s4.
