Might sound a bit odd but the same thing happened to my sisters husky, it went for the squirrel got hold of it which in turn got the dog bitten, but in this case it was quite a big bite so they took her to the vets a couple of days later and they gave it a good clean and gave her a shot of antibiotics didn't have any problems after that.
