Hey forums, i was hoping you guys could help me out. I have the first gen ps3. we recently repainted my house, which required us to box/put away the console for a few days. when reconnecting my ps3, it said that there was an error obtaining the ip address, and key information exchange timed out. I never had this problem before, and my wifi works fine-currently using it to get on this site .-. Already tried resetting my motom, router, ps3 multiple times. anyone help please ?

Did you try connecting it with an ethernet cable to test if the Ps3 is able to pick up any connection?

yeh i did, but i got it to work by resetting my router. thanks anyones though!!
