Some of us here seem to understand what Sony discretely said at the E3 briefing, while most did not. Here's an image to show what I am talking about:

Still don't see it? They don't come out and say it, but it looks as if you NEED PS Plus to enjoy in "Immersive Multiplayer Online on PS4." Still don't believe it? Do you think "Oh, it was free on PS3 so they wouldn't do it to us!" Well have a look at this. Sony posted a video with a humorous "tutorial" on how to share/trade disc games with the PS4. Here's the video's link: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] **

Note that, being sneaky devils and putting this in fine print in a video completely unrelated to used games, in the bottom of the video there is text they graciously put in that states "PS4 multi-player online access requires PSN account & PS Plus subscription." You DO need PS Plus to access multiplayer online, unlike some people believe. Make sure you understand this, especially for some users who are providing false information to others and possibly providing a decision-making effect over which console to get.***

Do not be confused though; you will be able to play all single-player games as well as use all media services without a PS Plus subscription.

Hope this helped clear up some confusion, I hate to see some people with a bad attitude over false information.

*** - I am no Xbox fan boy, I am a proud owner of an Xbox 360 AND a PS3 and I see these new consoles as very exciting and are optimistic towards both.

Microsoft should have done what they did and just put the 24 hour connection thing and the used games policies under some Xbox One video.

As a few of us keep saying, PS+ Is required, no PS+, No online, You can still enjoy the single player though.

I don't exactly agree with that. You're right, they could've easily done what Sony did in the video with the fine print. However some customers, myself being one, are happy with the fact that although they have some pretty "interesting" restrictions with the Xbox One, at least they came right out and said it honestly without hiding it from the average viewer's eye. That is the point where I could draw then line and give Microsoft a pat on the back for being straightforward with their customers.

I understand this. I forgot to put this in my post, although it does not say that you need online to play single player. No false info was stated. I will update the post to ensure there is no confusion about that as well.
