-Fallout wrote Here ill explain in 2 ways.
1. you pay for quality with all microsoft products.
2. you pay for cheap short time quality untill itt breaks for all sony products.
Ive gone through 4 ps3's 3 sony tv's and only 1 xbox 360 so i know what im talking about. and all where hardware related issues not user related/Caused by owner issues.
Wish I could say the same. Been through 4 Xboxes. 3 red ring, 1 open tray.

TopNotchKiNG wroteXxBig_D_FreshxX wrote Ok, being a Xbox guy, I was torn at 1st. But the facts don't lie. $100 cheaper, supports used games, doesn't have to be online. You're pretty narrow-minded if you play into Microsoft's hand. There's only going to be more & more restrictions on games, movies, etc. if you didn't think there were enough already. If you're the kind of guy who only cares for himself or wants an "entertainment" system, this console's for you. Plain & simple. If you're about others (especially mom & pop stores), you're an actual gamer who cares about "games" & think about it for just a second, you'll go for the PS4. I'm keeping my 360, but Microsoft, your time's up.
Once again, another person has no clue what he is speaking of. The Xbox One fully supports used games and is not just a gaming console, it is an all around home entertainment system built for multiple audiences and not just gamer's. Microsoft's approach with Xbox One is a very strong one, they grab the attention of the media and the general household with there all in one entertainment system then they show off it's gaming capabilities at E3. They have pulled in a completely new audience and they will retain it's die hard gamers. $100 cheaper means a low grade console build in order to make a decent profit off each console, therefore lowering it's life expectancy drastically. The Xbox One and it's revolutionary controller are truly, built to last.
That's exactly the problem. Most of us just want a console. Just like how MS wanted to integrate their OS to phones, tablets and PC's. Look how well that went. I, along with others, would much rather have multiple things like a laptop, phone, tablet, cable box, gaming system all as separate devices. Not all jumbled into one console. I hate the fact they even added internet explorer on Xbox 360. I don't know, maybe it's just be but I think separate devices have advantages.
TopNotchKiNG wroteCinema4D wrote I agree. I think microsoft dropped the ball on this one. Anyone buying this advocates more intrusion into our daily lives. I honestly hope this Xbox fails like Windows 8 did. There is no reason for all the flaws the Xbox One has to even be there except to generate more money for an already rich company.
Windows 8 did not fail? It is currently the most used OS out there. Windows 8 is fast, smooth and easy to navigate. I hated Windows 8 until I tried it, now I couldn't bare to switch back to Windows 7, for me it's either XP or Windows 8.
PC sales have been on a constant decline and MS thinks Win 8 is the reason.

The Connect can be disconnected and fully powered off, get your facts straight before you bad mouth an amazing piece of hardware.
Hahaha, the Kinect has to be connected to work. C'mon man.
Hey NEWS BREAK: It can be turned off faced the other way and covered! i JUST BLEW YO MIND!
And you think the console's gonna be ok with that? Hahaha. It'll scan your whole room before doing anything. Quite frankly, I don't wanna be monitored every 2 seconds. (the Kinect has ears too, lol)

Hahaha, you can most easily turn the Kinect at the wall if you don't want it to see you. Also for the above post, the Kinect comes with every single Xbox One, I think tech like that which is integrated into the system for only $100(the original Kinect was around $120 extra) more than a PS4 which doesn't include it's PlayStation Move, it's worth the extra dough. It's all dependent on personal preference though.

And if I didn't want Xbox's "All-Seeing Eye", then what? I'm forced to get it if I went to the Xbox One. Rather save $100, play used games from my local game store, and play single player when my internet's out.
Oh, and anyone can say it's "personal preference", because it is! I'm just paying for a system, not a system & an accessory I don't want/need.

Bill Gates is no longer a part of Microsoft so that part is bullsh*t. I don't care what discounts they offer. Them placing restrictions on content sharing is only to generate revenue. Them pricing LIVE at the price it is at is also to generate more revenue. PS3's network isn't bad for being free. How about those ads all on your dashboard?? Hmmm....money? With annual revenue in upwards of 70 billion dollars, they do not need all that extra monetary gain. Oh and big whoop I can get 20 free Ms points for a survey. Plus MS also cut multiple game studios like Aces so don't say they are so friendly to employees. And trust me, my aunt worked for MS, the discounts aren't as great as you think.
