Does any kind person know how to unlock/open a s2 to any network please ?

The thing is i had my friend root it for me, it was t-mobile but i want it on virgin and now its accepted the virgin sim but i can't ring or receive phone calls same with messages

Yes it was, the only thing that seems to be wrong is when i go into settings/about phone/status "mobile network state" says disconnected plz help

Have you tried all the obvious answers like Switching Airplane mode on and off, restarting the phone and stuff like that?

Yes i try changing sims too and nothing IMEI numbers there and iv'e even typed *#simlock# and everythings off

I actually have no idea what is going on then? The only thing I can think of is if you have flashed a stock ROM for a different region? I dont know where you are from but if you are from the US a ROM designed for Asia or Europe wouldn't work so maybe thats what the problem is? Apart from that i literally have no idea?

It really is baffling me and i'm from u.k, i've just put gingerbread back on and "mobile network sttate" is connected but still no calls or messages and thanks for helping
