Why did bungie just give up on halo?????

In my opinion, bungies games will always be better than 343's because they were more community-based. They had better campaigns in all of their games, and so much more. Does anybody else agree with me?

Most of Bungie wanted to move on with different projects. The people that were dedicated to Halo left to form 343 Industries. They all got what they wanted. It's their lives. they should make whatever game makes them comfortable. Halo 4 isn't that bad anyway. I don't play it often, but it's the most enjoyable one I have played after Halo 2.

Its not that easy, Bungie has been with Microsoft for years, and like the person above said, they wanted to work on new projects, such as Destiny, and hopefully more!

Could be worse, I mean At least Bungie are still making games ;)

Shame about them not doing Halo anymore though :/

I think Bungie did the right thing when they didn't renew their contract (thankfully), now playstation will get a taste of what Bungie have to offer.

Still kinda sucks, the halo i grew up with and loved is gone.

But at least they are making Destiny which looks awesome!

they gave up because they wanted the story to end on i think halo 3
