it just does not make sense. i mean they are saying how the new xbox is going to have amazing graphics but they cant show it and have to use gaming pcs. i understand the theft prevention though

The show the games at the conference on the consoles but they are reffering to the demo stations, because at the e3 that talked about 360 before it came out i remember the booths using the pcs and not the console. its to make sure the game is stable. but they show the actual gameplay at conferences with the actual product.

as said its not just MS that do this Sony do too. the Stage demos are done via console, but the Booths are PC

Also the doom 3 booth back around 2004 wasnt the xbox original, they showed it on the original xbox but the demo stands had pcs underthem, and you could partialy see them.
