I use to have my console lying flat then I got a new desk and had to leave it on its side for more space. Also I have the Xbox 360 slim.

I put it straight up only because the place where I put my Xbox doesn't have enough space to lay on the side. PS I have an Xbox Elite.

Yes, that would be good so the laser cant burn the discs by putting the Xbox straight not turned over on a side.

I prefer to have my console flat, so I dont run the risk of it tipping over and breaking/scratching my disc inside
