I know I have put a lot of question about pc recently but this will proberbly be one of my last ones
Can I use a hdd with windows 7 on it from another and put it into a new one with completely different components

Unfortunately not, the activation key for windows is tied to the motherboard on first activation.

Yes, you'd just need to enter the activation key when it asks for it.

Yeah when you buy a copy of windows you usually get a disc, and a sticker with a code on it. The OS will eventually notice its been placed in another system and request the new code.
