Charging him now seems like a complete waist, everything happened a long time ago, there's nothing that can justify that, especially not now.

Ozy wrote The way I look at this is, if they harmed any Jews or prisoners in any way they should pay for those crimes.
If, on the other hand, they were simply there to keep the Jews contained and didn't come into direct physical contact with them in a harmful way, they shouldn't be brought up on it.

I feel like violence is the line between 'Just following orders' and 'Enjoying following orders.'

So I think he should be charged, but the death penalty? No.

But even as a guard, being there to keep the Jews contained, you are helping your colleagues, and they are using direct physical contact.

And as I see it, even if they were stuffed with propaganda, you should somewhere in your head consider that doing that sort of stuff is wrong, because it's another human being you're hurting.

I don't think he should be punished now, it's 68 years ago, if he should have been punished, he should have been it straight after the war, or like up till 20 years after.

However, if he had shown any Nazi behavior since the war ended, then yes, then I think he should be punished by death.

I don't think he should. Mainly, because he could have been forced to be a Nazi.
