Hi, I've put together a list of components that I think may accomplish what I want to do; play games such as arma on high settings.
I would really appreciate some feedback.
I have a chosen a good motherboard?
Can I choose another 7870 brand that's not gigabyte and achieve the same results such as Sapphire?
If I was hoping to achieve just games regularly setting (medium) what would I be downgrading?
The CPU is the 8350. Is it worth spending the extra cash for it or should just go with the 8320...?
I'm considering dropping the Cooler and using he standard AMD on as I won't be over locking at this moment in time.. And possibly use the extra cash on a sapphire 7950 ?

What do you guys think?

if you're going amd I highly suggest you overclock, as the performance increase is worth it.

Do you think it would be wise to drop the cooler at this time, purchase the 7950 sapphire. I will eventually overclock the AMD.
Do you suggest the 8350 or 8320. I'm just trying tomkeepnthe budget down without creating a dramatic effect on the performance...?

You won't see much of a performance drop with the CPU in this build, its just the clock speed which is different. The cooler is definatly needed for overclocking and is good anyway as its nice and quiet on ASUS boards. The motherboard i chose has a better chipset than the AsRock one and will be able to handle some pretty high overclocks. RAM and HDD are just that i usually go for the cheapest. And the power supply is a quality unit, just remember to think of the power requirement when you overclock highly. Oh and the graphics card is better too its a Tahiti LE card which should perform up there with the 79XX range if you want to overclock that too.
