Right, I'm not on the same phone as you but when I got the Update from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2 mine failed every time as well and to get around this I just found a copy of the Official Jelly Bean ROM that was for my phone and just flashed it! Would you be fine with that as well but obviously flashing the correct ROM? The only problem with me helping you do that is that its quite dangerous and you can brick your phone but if it all goes well your phone will be on the latest software and perfectly fine! Just take that into consideration!
