My disk drive is broke I think. I have it opened and when I go to close it, it just stops before going and comes back out. Now I opened the drive itself and the magnet is pushed down. How can I fix this?

Can't do that.
Every drive has a unique DVDkey, unless you have your original and flash it onto the new one, the drive won't even function.

Your wrong buddy. I had a broken magnet on my old BenQ.
What I did was I bought a new BenQ Drive for my xbox and all I had to do was de-solder the wires from the old drive, take the board (cqb board or some shit) and just solder the wires of the new BenQ drive onto that board.

Kaeskay wroteyes but if you fail you just basically ruined your Xbox and you've lost the key forever unless you rgh or jtag the xbox and get the keys off the motherboard if you cant do that your screwed best if you just read your drive on jungle flasher and save all your keys so if your ever in that situation your safeinuyasha555 wrotelfmodz wrote same thing happened to me... if it doesn't want to stay shut and keeps opening on its own. u need to check ur drive sensor to make sure its not broken and its in its proper position. it tells the xbox when the drive is open and shut.
