Huskyy wrote Im not sure if this is lucid dreaming but its more of me controlling my dream. Basically i started dreaming and something "clicked" in my mind and i realized that i was actually dreaming, i don't know how i did it but i wish i could always tell the difference. In the dream i was at school in my classroom and once i found out it was a dream i could control EVERYTHING. I could stop the time and make anything appear it was based fully off of my imagination. Probably one of the coolest moments of my life and i wish i could do it again. There are ways to train your brain to determine dreaming from reality though, its really interesting.

So I was thinking about the whole topic and then I thought about this, what you wrote and I have another question, going by what you wrote does that mean it is possible to lucid dream without trying?

It took me about 2 weeks to fully master it, it is very cool to know that you are dreaming

I actually have visions. It is very scary and I cannot control it. I usually have one once every 3 months or so. Does anyone know where i could get some help? I actually saw my friend sitting on his porch at his new house 2 weeks before he even though about buying a new home.

How I do it is I find a quite dark room and just lay down and think about what I want to dream about and nothing else for about 2 hours. Then go grab a nice damp, cool towel and lay it on your forehead and completely relax and stay completely still until you fall asleep. Then before you know it you should find yourself in your dream. Don't believe me? Try it tonight!

I don't suggest Wake induced lucid dreaming.

This may take longer but start doing reality checks all the time to where it becomes a habit.
Keep a dream journal.

From there just go to sleep and you'll eventually start doing reality checks in your dreams.

DILD(Dream induced lucid dreams) are safer but take longer to master. If you ever get in paralysis while DILD then just wiggle your toes.

As for seeing demons and monsters? It's all in your head and you control what you see. Just keep that in your head that you control everything.
