actually it is a guy (referred to as the zodiac killer) who went around in California in the late 60's killing people. He would send letters to the press telling his reasons for killing, and ideas for what he will do next. He said he killed around 40 people. He was never convicted because he was never caught. It's one of the most famous murder cases ever.

Indeed -Snowflake is correct. I learned about 10 serial killers in my U.S. History class in high school. It was quite interesting to say the least.

The Zodiac Killer was a mastermind (no I do not condone or congratulate him in any way for these horrendous acts) at how he went about those killings. To go 40-50 years without being caught (although he may be deceased now) is just unimaginable, seeing as how he committed that many murders just like that. It takes a real mentally deranged person to want to take the lives from other human beings like that. I guess they enjoy just seeing people's lives in their hands, who knows?
