I'm working on a ibuypower pc from 2005. It's got a intel Pentium D 920 cpu 775 socket with an asus mobo. I've been trying to figure out why it's not booting up.Hopefully someone will have the answer.
It's my aunts computer, she took it to the local computer store and said the cpu and the mobo were shot... She was then given a quote of like $450 to fix it lol.

I don't think the motherboard is bad
Motherboard -
green light on at bottom of mobo
the channnel fan pins work
cpu fan pins work
pci powers gpu correctly
mobo USB works
front panel connectors work

Nothing appears on the screen

I replaced the cpu today and I haven't progressed any.

I've kind of pondered about the button battery on the mobo... I wonder if bios would reset...
