IVIoD_LoBByS wrotewe wont be charged anymore, all they do is contact you to see if you will pay the full price (ill say No) so no your not correct, you made no point you canot be charged more unless you allow them to but they reserve the right to cancel the transaction and give you your money backSnowhiter wrote Unfortunately check the small print of the contract between consumer and HMV seen here in (C) below

As I keep saying they will NOT charge your card extra. By law they are not aloud to do that, so stop saying they will because they wont :|

Ok - To clarify
There is an obvious error on HMV's website regarding the price.
Many of us have ordered these 12 month codes with T-shirts for 2.99.
Money will not be debited from our accounts until the item is ready for shipment. HMV cannot take the money from us unless that is the price they are selling it. If they take the 2.99 price from our credit/debit card or bank - they are legally obliged to supply the goods at that price
If they do not notice their error we get this for 2.99 a pop - they cannot take more... If they notice - they will e-mail us before item is shipped and ask whether we want to go ahead with the order at a different price.
