If it's not a problem with the drive, either the disk is messed up or you do not have enough space on the drive. If you are getting open tray errors on very clean disks then it is probably a messed up drive.

If that is the case I would recommend trying one of the options shown [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] .

You may have messed up the laser in some way, my RGH does the same thing. But mine now only reads movies. So, if you want to get games on your RGH you will have to download them from the internet.

if your dvd key is not matched from the drive to the nand it wont read discs. see what your dvd key is based on the original nand dump then compare it to the current nand. if its different, then you know thats the problem. pm me for more help if this doesnt make sense to you

I would say more likely a bad laser or drive mechanism. If it was a mismatch key then it won't ready any game end of and would say either play game without icon or unrecognized disc.

Your ideal course of action is to contact the person you bought the console off to get this resolved specially if it's an item you just received and meant to be in a working condition. If that fails, get the laser changed and then re-test the drive again.

I already did that but nothing works. So I just sen it back to chrommodz so he can fix it. It was probably a laser problem but whatever. Thanks for the help anyways.
