Most schools in the UK finish around the end of July.

I didn't get any detention's though, I honestly don't know why.

It serves you right, you deserve every bit of punishment that you get. School is important, not for the education, but it teaches you the basics of life, you clearly haven't learnt them yet.

are you trying to say that kids from UK are in school or kids from the US. Because I'm American and we got out of school 1 1/2 weeks ago.
