What is a safe overclock for a i5-3570k?
I have a COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO.

probably around 4.3-4.5ghz

I have mine @ 4.2ghz - runs everything I need at cool temperature and have never had it crash. Not really necessary to overclock a ridiculous amount....

You should be able to get to 4.3 or so before temps start to be excessive(with the 212 Evo).

There's no way of knowing until you try. Get to know your chip because every one of them is different; here's a good video tutorial:
