For all these American's saying that its hotter over there, please do a considerable amount of research first.
Yes, you may "technically" have higher temperatures but that is not all. The UK recieves a prevailing wind from the South-West. What this means is that the majority of wind and air coming to our country, comes across the ocean and the first land mass it hits is the UK.
This means that not only is it hot, it is extremely humid. I speak on behalf of alot of brits here in saying that when we go abroad to other, dryer countries, it is considerably more comfortable and bearable over 30 degrees C.
Coupled with the fact that our average temperate is considerably lower that yours, it doesn't add up to be a very good thing. Believe me I would swap your whatever 112F is heat for our 30C anyday.

Nope, you're wrong. In the next couple of facts that I show you, pay attention to the "feels like" temperature. This is the temperature once humidity is factored in.
London, UK
Miami, FL
Houston, TX
Toronto, ON

You've based this on a website that automatically generates these statistics, not actual experience.
Its always a competition when the americans get involved. Not being funny, but as soon as someone says something its like "oh well were 102F" and then "oh well were im from its 112F so yeah".
Please come back to me when you have proof that your knowledgeable in the subject of climatology, rather than just copy and pasting website links.

The argument between Britain and America is non comparable because no matter how much hotter it is in places like Houston TX Miami FL or Toronto ON they all have one huge advantage over the British and that is Air conditioning !!.
Turn off your air conditioning for a day or two and then you will understand what it is like in Britain at the moment.
Lol i am joking !!..,You would have to be mad to turn your air con off.
Keep cool people

I'm basing this off of actual facts from a website. You're basing your knowledge out of your ass. Come to me with actual proof, not some "climatology degree" that you claim to have, that it is "hotter with humidity" in the UK when it is 30+ degrees than it would be in a city like Houston, or even Chicago. Yes, proof from a reputable website. The Weather Network doesn't automatically generate these values, but rather factors in humidity and then generates the values based off of that. Also, by the way, I'm from Canada, not America. The fact is, you guys in the UK have it easy compared to others (including myself), so stop complaining and enjoy the weather.
