I've ordered a disk and it should arrive tomorrow, but I've never hotswapped, so I need a bit of help, I have the slim xbox and I need help on how to hotswap, I know I have to take the xbox apart and then take the drive apart, start to install and when the storage bit pops up take the disk out quickly and put the iso one in and begin the installion and once its done put the normal disk in and its done.

does that mean I can put my normal disk in and put my xbox back together, and play fine

and is ISO modding really that easy for something that extreme

Yep Your Right! But Before You Start Installing/Hotswapping, Remember To Clear The System Cache. From Your Device Where You Are Installing It!
