You're never gonna get great performance on a laptop especially with integrated graphics. What games were you wanting to play?

Mainly the popular games like cod but I've seen other games that look good just don't know their names. I'm new to the whole pc gaming and I understand that laptop won't be as good as a desktop but it's just easier for me and I'm not considering a desktop at all.

Theres no reason not to try with games you already own, but honestly with graphically intense games that system will struggle so i probably isn't worth dropping money on new FPS games or things like that.

Any suggestions on what is a good gaming laptop or what to look for that makes a good gaming laptop?

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-6b47 dx and It plays most games but has had a heating problem so it needs a laptop cooler on the bottom which is 10$.... If I can find the specs I will. The thing is this model only is sold with beats audio so it runs at 800 - 1000 dollars if you want a 2 year warranty.

I don't know much about CPUs but the second specs I posted are those good?

The laptops that your recommending will not be able to play many games unless its like Minecraft and League of Legends and that's not even maxed out, whats your budget?

Even the second specs I posted? And I guess my budget would be like 700.

the things you need to be looking at are the CPU, RAM and GPU.
The CPU is also called a processor you want this to be a quad core. Best to get an intel i5 or i7 but AMD will get the job done.

Next is the RAM or the sometimes known Memory. You want 8GB preferably with this. 4GB will be a minimum. Try to get its speed to 1600 but 1366 will work.

Now is the gpu or graphics card or video card. There are two brands to focus on and that is Nvidia with their GTX series and AMD with their radeon series. The first number in the name of the card will be the series number. Ex. GTX 780 is the 700 series. A Radeon 7870 is the 7000 series. You want your series to be either the GTX 600 or 700 series or a radeon 7000 series. I am unsure about mobile/laptop gpu but I can tell you that you want the 650-680, 760-780, 7770-7970.

I will give you more info on laptops tommorrow because I'm tired and I'm going to bed.
