So after playing skyrim for a few hours i got to thinking,Should elder scrolls games have mixed races? for example Dark Elf/Nord so would it be 50% resistance to fire and frost?.

Technically, going by the Elder Scrolls lore, there are mixed races however the child always takes after one parent, being purely of that race. I'm not sure exactly but I think the child takes the mothers race, so if a male dunmer married and had a child with say a female Altmer, the child would be a Altmer as is in the game, only link to dunmer bloodline would be name and small trace of blood.

But Bretons are considered mixed. They are Nede and Aldmer.
