Ok I made a post a while ago over looking all the Xbox One requirements and it's advantages/disadvantages! I missed out quite a bit do I've made a new one! Enjoy this post!

24 Hour Connection check-in

This is to prevent the pirating of games and would have had to have been in place for being able to play games instantly without needing the disc as it would check online for your license to the game!

Advantages!

This would have made the playing of games without the disc possible and would have eliminated the small minority of people attempting to get pirated copies of games by checking for the digital license!

Disadvantages!

If you live in a poor area (Or one which has frequent internet drops) Then this will bug you, I'm sorry about this but there wouldn't have been much done about it! Most of you however, will still have an Xbox 360 available if such a thing happens though!

If you don't have internet access at all! Why would you spend $500 dollars or 430 pounds on a console if you don't have an internet connection? Besides, they have already said that the 360 will be supported for years to come!

The Kinect

People still think that it will be spying on you, so what? They aren't gonna post your business on YouTube or make it public, it will not affect you at all! Besides, you can always turn it away from you if playing a game involving voice commands! Ok, the Kinect isn't really part of the DRM so ill end that bit here!

Game sharing (Digital/Physical)

This would have been freaking awesome (Digital wise) as adding 9 people to a "Family" would allow them to access games on your library! Her is how it would work...
After installing the game to your Xbox One console, you would be prompted to add it to your shared library, either, Public (Everybody in the "Family" can use it) Private (Only selected folk can access it) and Personal (Only people on the same Xbox One console could access it) I can't express how amazing it would have been, obviously only one person could access it at any given time, as with lending a physical disc would work.
Now, physical disc sharing would have required the person to be on your Xbox LIVE friends list for more than 30 days and each game could only be lent once, however, this wouldn't be a problem as most people would be on your "Family" list and this wouldn't apply to them, this applies to those not on the list, so isn't really a problem! How it would work...
Before the game is installed on the friend Xbox, it checks for the license holder on the persons friends list, once found the game will place a temporary license on that console, which will be deleted once the owner of the game gets it back!

Advantages

Would save people a lot of money, could even start a shared purchase, where each person donates towards the games purchase!

Is just generally awesome!

Disadvantages

SOLDIERS OVERSEAS

People only bring this up to pick fault with the Xbox One! If they want to play games then they can use the Xbox 360, or better yet, go to the PS4. Either way I think soldiers have bigger problems than what console to get!

I hate that people bring the soldiers up so I'm not even going to entertain the idea any longer! It's stupid!

GAMES WILL BE CHEAPER

At the moment, games are about 50 pound or $60 dollars, this is because new games are the main way the publishers will get money for their games, with the pre-owned fee, publishers will still get money, so they will have no need to make the games overpriced, yet pre-owned games will still be cheaper than buying new, but a small fee will be in place.
And no, this will not ruin the second hand market, it will work very similar as it does now but prices will be different! Here is how a pre-owned game would work on your console...
If you own a physical copy of a game (Disc), then you have the license for it. When you trade in, you sill receive money for doing so, when somebody wishes to purchase the game you traded in is bought and took home, once the game is put into another persons Xbox, it will check for the license holder on their friends list, if they are, then it will act as a borrowed game, if it didn't find the license holder then it will prompt you to purchase the license to the game before installing, purchasing the license will remove the license from the other person's console.

A PETITION IS HERE!

A petition has been made wanting the Xbox Ones's original DRM policy to be restored, mostly PS fanboys have signed it, thinking it will ruin Xbox, they are uninformed people that don't understand it's benefits! Please sign it in the hopes that we will get all these awesome things back, here is the link!

I hope you enjoyed this post and have a different view of the Xbox One, if I missed anything out then please post it in the comments! Have a good day!

For the men and women that fight for their countries, should they really be forced to use an inferior system just because Microsoft wants their updated one to have DRM? Telling people to go buy a PS4 is counterproductive (since it helps another company with sales.) Denying our soldiers an entertainment system just because of a simple thing like internet is not right.

Who said games would be cheaper? Did anyone confirm it? The last discussion I heard with Major Nelson, he said that game deals like Steam are something they could look into. That is not saying that it will happen. It's just something people expect without any confirmation on it.

You are also missing a major point where you can share it with nine or ten family members. When you share it, they only get 15 minutes to an hour of playtime. After that, it ceases to work for them. I see that as a disadvantage.

The Kinect is a disadvantage almost anyway you look at it. It can be less of a disadvantage now considering I don't have to be online every 24 hours. PRISM is a major thing whether people want to see it or not. The things they can build off of it is frightening, and that is the reason why people need to understand that it needs to be stopped.

All in all, the only advantage I see the DRM had was to stop the majority of pirating and maybe modders. That would have been great, but I see too many disadvantages of the DRM.

This.

It appears that the people advocating for the return of this pathetic DRM don't realise what they're getting themselves into, just say no.
