push it up against a sink fosit and go in circles around the disc.

NEVER GO ROUND IN CIRCLES. That will ruin the data in the disk. Rub from the inside out. Good luck.

buy another one it should be cheap or if you have a friend who has one ask to lend it off of him and install it to your hard drive.

Thanks both of you. I hope it works i haven't played Mw2 in Ages.

My Call of Duty: Black Ops II is F*****CKED, it says Unauthorised Disc. There are Massive Chips taken out of the centre on the disc thanks to my steelbook case.

If the disc isn't reading then maybe it's your Xbox laser that's broke. Try your other games and they work then it your Modrern Warfare 2 that's broke so wipe it with a soft cloth. If your other games don't work then your laser is broke so once the disc tray closes tap the top if your Xbox to shake the disc inside and it could read after a few attempts.

you could take it to a dvd/gaming store because so of them clean your disks for just 2 and it will work perfectly

OR if the Xbox recognises the disc is Modern Warfare 2 *if there is a picture of Modern Warfare 2 at the top left before clicking Play Game* then just Install the game to your hard drive and it will work every time as long as the picture comes up in the top left. Please Reply if I Helped.
