First off I am not sure if this is battery related, but I did use many other batteries.
One set of batteries was sort of fresh and new, but my controller just knocks it down to 3 bars out of 4. Then it dies than it goes to two then it dies goes to one. Then it dies and won't turn on. Now I'm waiting to get some new batteries, but my controller won't even light up real quick. Is it my batteries or is it my controller? Please help +rep will be rewarded.

I would think it's the controller. There might be a short somewhere which is causing the batteries to drain. I would try a new battery pack for the controller, that might fix it. If it doesn't, then there is something wrong with the controller itself.
