Ok , so I took apart my old Xbox 360 hard drive so I could put it on my new slim , the light turns red (kinda like red rings ) , how can I take out the hard drive? It won't come out . Did anyone else get the red light and message when they tried doing this?!
Edit : I got it out , and the Xbox works fine now.

your not suppose to put that HHD in because of that and they are not compatible. turn the xbox upside down and bump it a little so the HHD can fall out

Well i did this same thing to my hdd and it slid in fine, and my xbox is working 100% and i can use my hdd no problem. it was a 60GB hdd. did you jam it in possible damaging the xbox?
did you damage the motherboard on the hdd or mess something up on it? because mine works fine.

You had to have damaged the HDD some how, my friend also did the same method and it worked. if you have an air compressor spray the inside of the slot to get all the dust and stuff out, and look on the hdd for any faults or scratches.
