So I just saw a post asking what peoples grades were (Post). Now this reminded me that school is starting soon, and I want to give some incoming freshman advice.
Now I know everybody is telling you to try your hardest freshman year, and that it matters. You're probably sick of it, and thinking "Oh, it's one year out of 4! I can mess around!".. Well that's an awful idea. Take it from me. I was the exact same way. I even had juniors telling me it was important while I was in classes and I didn't listen to them.
The grades you make freshman year are basically the bases of how you're going to finish high school. I'm going into my junior year and if I want to go to any college I have to try super hard and get B's in almost all my classes. You don't want to dig a hole that you can't get out of.
Hope this helped any incoming freshman. You have to go into it with a good attitude and want to do well. Then after freshman year, as long as you do well, you can basically get C's or higher the rest of high school and still be fine! It's worth it to dedicate a year to trying, for 3 years of fun.

Freshman year is the most important year in High School, and probably the most stressful. I'm glad I'll be graduating this year.

Eh I thought my Junior year was the hardest.
And Senior year didn't go that well cause I was too anxious to already leave

Currently beginning my junior year. I just have to say is to enjoy high school. I feel like yesterday was my first day freshman year but now I am already 2 years deep and less than 2 left. It flew by. Just enjoy it.
