I bought an Xbox on eBay which has an update failure. The status code is 22fb 351f b800 0402 c000 0001. I know the dash is 8955 that needs to be updated due to the status code but it is not a regular "stick a flash drive in and update". I think the DVD drive was either flashed and someone tried to update or the wrong DVD drive was spoofed and an update was made. Anyway, I don't know of anyway to fix it without messing with the DVD drive. My question is, will I be able to RGH this Xbox as is or will I have to fix the update error? Will Xell load when I put it on the NAND so I can get my DVD drive at least?
