this is what you do. hotswap way before it even starts to spin fast. do it when the laser is moving (be careful not to hit the laser). once it speeds up it should work.

maybe try letting your original download to 1% then hotswap. this seems to fix any issues otherwise the problem is either the laser or the disc. most of the time its the disc though

Youu either are trying to hotswap with a ISO that isnt the same as your retail disc, or you have a bad burn.
