You dont need Sony Vegas or Premire Pro to edit a montage, you just need 5 Plugins for after effects

Magic Bullet Looks
Twixtor
Twitch
Reel Smart Motion Blur
and Maybe Trapcode

They do cost money, but you can look them up on YouTube to get them for free
