RS3 is horrible so if youre gonna go back stick to old school.

It will last longer than a year, don't forget it's in the hands of Jagex to decide how their game pans out, they could remove their hard work of EoC/RS3 to get players back if they really wanted. It won't die.

I advise you buy membership, and you play Old School Runescape. It's a lot better than RS3, just look at these pictures.

To me the Old School Runescape interface is a lot nicer then the RS3 interface. You have to click on too many things just to get to your prayer,stats, inventory, etc.

It's your choice whether or not you play Runescape 3 or not. If you play, I advise you play Old School Runescape instead of Runescape 3. Runescape 3 has turned into World of Warcraft, I mean don't get me wrong, World of Warcraft is amazing, but Runescape needs to stay away from that, they were fine back in 2009-2011 until they decided to mess the game up terribly.

RS3 is kinda stupid, but it could be fun for skilling, due to the fact that botting is dead. You should play both for a bit, and decide upon that. Good luck!

Sure RS3 isn't too great, but you can't judge the interface, due to the fact that is is customizable. I find 07 to be a bit boring due to the fact that it has barely any items, and party hats aren't even rare, it however is very sad to watch this game die, I've been playing since I was a little kid, and it took a major role in my life (don't hate)

In my opinion the RS3 Interface Looks like an actual MMO Game interface. The Oldschool RS Interface looks like a game you would play in pre-school

OT; Personally I wouldnt go back unless your prepaid to actually play the game not on and off. As runescape now isn't how it use to be. I was a ratter and my days are long gone because of all these updates.

if you enjoy the combat update, you will enjoy rs3. really there is not much of a difference with the rs3 update. you basically can just customize the screen now. woohoo, i guess. but as many mentioned before, the 07 servers were a great deal of fun when i played them. i only played them the first month they came out though however.

I personally have not played runescape 3 and have no clue what it is like but if you really want to play it i don't see why you wouldn't. If anything you could become a member and play 07 runescape if you get bored/dislike the new one
