xbox with 7.4 GB free, and it's saying there is a problem? do I need more space or what?

My mate why trying to recover his account yesterday and it wouldn't let him and he got banned when he went back onto it later on dunno if thats whats happening to you but

Check how many profiles are on your xbox. You may have plenty of space however yourt xbox has a limit to the number of profiles on it.

Have a look at how many accounts are on the HDD and delete one you don't need and/or turn you xbox of then back on then try again.
