no i truly do not think it will excel do to the fact it's popularity isnt what it was the fan base is rapidly decreasing the halo 1-3 story line and epic battles/maps was the key to halo's success 343 simply cant bring it back so all and all no and also all the new ip games pssh. halo 5 is not going to be able to compete they also cant come close to the original halo makers bungie with ther new destiny game

I think Halo fell off the map in 2010. Because of the big change with Halo: Reach.

I think if they can make Halo feel and play as it used to in the Halo 2/3 days, then Halo will be dominant again.

I played Halo 4 for the first few months, then it got stale. For me it just didn't have that competitive/fun factor that the older Halo's had, which is a disappointment.

I really, really hope Halo can be like it used to be with Halo 5.

I think Halo 5 will be just like how Halo 4 is now. I hate to say it but halo is not coming back

The thing is... Halo 3 was so successful online because it had actual ranks. The only way you could get to the max rank was by getting a lvl 50.
1. Everyone wants to be the highest rank and what made halo 3 so much fun was you could "show off" your rank to other players with a click of a button. Now halo 4 did bring back the csr but everyone can still get to Sr 130 without it. You have to look up the ranks online and the ranks (I believe) are only based on how well one player does. This bring me to another point....

2. In halo 3 you only received exp through winning games. This made it a team effort to achieve higher ranks unless you played free for all.

If 343 were to use these ideas and just make certain things better, it would EASILY top the xbl traffic.

more than likely yes, but for me it seems to be a copy and paste with a few extra features, im not hating on the game but in my opinion its not a massive change since halo 3 or reach
