It's insanely easy to rank up at the start. All you got to do is run the Assault kit make sure you have medkits & defibs and a good gun either M16A3 or M416 and go play Metro on Conquest on a server running 500 - 1000 tickets and you will get mega xp.

Also if you should have the Close Quarters map pack Ziba Tower/DOM on 500 to 750 tickets and you net yourself a good 30 to 90 kills and cap some flags along the way that will also get you a ton of XP.
