Marshall-Mathers wrote It's not a "high end gaming pc". The Xbox One, whilst compared to today's gaming computers isn't much more than a mid range budget computer.

It basically is a High end gaming Pc. If you go out and try to buy a Pc with all the box specs like the graphics card, 8 core cpu, 8gb ram and 802.11n wireless chip you will be paying around $700-$1,000. That right there is way over the Xbox Ones price.

That's not high end. High end in todays market would be around 16GB RAM, a GTX 670 or a 680 and i5 or an i7.

Secondly, having YouTube and Twitch on your console doesn't make it special. My phone has the same thing **** and it costed a lot less.

Third, the fact that they have RAM allocated to do specific stuff, isn't new. Everything is like that. They should already know how much RAM they have to work with if they are developing for something. It won't make CoD any better, sorry kid. Until they get rid of their **** engine, it's done.

This right here, just proves you have no **** clue what you are talking about -
it has 2 HD speakers on the outside so it can hear your voice better and it will pick up movement a lot better than the 360 version does.

Since when do speakers pick up my voice and pick up my movement? Kid, just stop acting like you know your **** and please go do something else.

Before you make yourself look like more of a moron than you already do let me clear some things up for you.
1. I never mentioned it helping Cod, Cod sucks same thing over and over, but did I ever say it would help it? No.
2. 3rd off the Pc that you are trying to say is way better which it is would cost you $1,000+ way past the $500 I am talking about.
3. I said specifically some people who don't need a home phone and don't have one would enjoy this feature. You obviously don't read before you reply so please stop and take your time next time.
4. Skype, Live Tv, Internet Explorer, 802.11n wireless chip, improved graphics card. These are all advantages to the xbox one without having to pay $1,000+
5. You pay lets say $45 a month for your phone bill that has bad internet terrible Skype calls and more. You would pay $60 a year on xbox and there are soo many more advantages than just that.
6. Me talking about the Ram being dedicated to certain stuff will help game developers so they know how much ram they can utilize for their game whereas Ps4 doesn't have dedicated Ram so it will be harder for developers. That is my point. lol

So please sir take your hate somewhere else because all of your points make you look like more of a moron than you already are. Thankyou

For the price of $500 you could make a PC that is 1-2x better. You don't even know what your talking about dude. Stop with your exaggerating your wireless chip and ****. I bet you don't even OWN a gaming desktop computer. Now of course I know your going to reply that you do, but seriously the ps4 has the SAME components. Rant over.

But playing an Xbox/PS4 actually feels like you're playing a game unlike using a sh*tty keyboard to move around ! A PC is what I use Facebook for, Xbox/PS4 is what I use to play games! PC just ruins the fun unless you want to go out and buy a Microphone and a bunch of other accessories for it!

True a lot of players do prefer controllers over Mouse and keyboard but there is still a huge community of Pc gamers who love their mouse/keyboard!

Actually the keyboard and mouse offers far superior movement options, I have a feeling you've never gamed on pc or are just extremely closed minded.

I lol'd at "high end PC." Do console owners not understand what a high end PC is? Both Xbox and PS4 are outdated hardware wise before they are even out yet. My computer that I've built two years ago will still be better than the console on release. To be honest I do not give a shit about a 8 core processor. I rather have a quad core processor with a better GHz from Intel then from AMD. If they had a quad core processor and it was possible to have the use of logical cores on consoles too(don't quote me on this because I have no idea if consoles have the ability to use logical cores, I don't see why they couldn't) Then they can have an extra 4 logical cores depending on the CPU also making it have 8 cores. But then only differences is the GHz. Have a stocked speed quad core processor and overclocking it to 4.0 range would allow more FPS and would be better for consoles in my opinion. Onto the wireless chip now. Isn't that the same type of wireless chip that's in all wireless cards now days? Including the PS3 and the Xbox 360. I don't see why wireless is so much of a bragging right as Ethernet will always give you the faster connection. Don't even say consoles will pass PC because I will argue with you all day. Consoles WILL NEVER PASS PC. Especially when it is ALREADY OUTDATED compared to PC. The problem is that developers who make consoles game make it for the console's capabilities. If they made it for PC's abilities then consoles would not be able to run the game, I'm telling you that much.

After reading about the keyboard and mouse argument:
Do you guys know what dead space is on a controller? It's the delay/reaction time of when you press a button on a controller. I can't stand that shit especially the 360 controller. I like the PS3's controller better since it has less dead space. Don't get me wrong though I'm not a fanboy of any of the consoles, and I have both of them. People saying that keyboard is shitty, well maybe because you have a **** shitty keyboard. Learn to INVEST in a mechanical keyboard and a good mouse like from corsair, razer, etc. Then you can't complain that keyboard and mouse are shit compared to console controllers. Try playing an competitive FPS game on PC with a console controller, I can guarantee you that you will get raped because keyboard and mouse can have such a better reaction timing if you actually know how to use it which isn't hard..

Right off the bat, you clearly over-reacted to this whole post. This was made to boost perception of the XB1, not to reduce the reputation and perceived power of the pc (Or PS4) however people like you have seemed to blow into a full on rant. No one here has tried to argue "Console beats PC!" or "PC sucks!" and yes, the XB1's power is equivalent to a medium-high end pc, clearly when the OP made that statement he wasn't referring to these mega high end monsters that people tend to sink money into. also, it should be clear that the XB1 isn't nearly as underpowered and "Outdated" as you would like to believe as it can easily run next gen gen game as well as most gaming pc's. finally, of course a direct ethernet connection is going to be better than wireless, but most people on console do not have that option(Btw the wireless chip that is being used in the XB1 hasn't been used in any console to date.)

You're mistaken with the prices of components, considering Microsoft is producing the consoles in bulk the price they're paying for components is likely a fraction of the price you estimated.

"I'm not a fanboy of any of the consoles, and I have both of them." I'm stating my opinions on everything that the OP said and what someone posted about(Keyboards). Also Medium end pc = XB1 and the fact that it can run next gen games really doesn't faze me as they are still going to be on the old consoles so it really doesn't mean that only the next gen console can run next gen games. Lastly they can run it because the devs make it compatible for consoles to handle. If they just focused on PC I don't think that consoles would run it and I'm only going to rant about any idiot who thinks it will beat PC as the OP said in post. What can a gaming consoles like the xbox do that the PC can't, Watch TV? It's a gaming console not a STB. Also it's still the same spec as any other modern day wireless card. I don't see the point of the xbox having an "exclusive" one when it's probably the same thing.

Dragify wrote 6. Here is basically how much everything costs.
- Graphics Card- $200
- 802.11n Wireless chip- $100
- 8 Core CPU- Minimum $160
- 500gb HD- $50
- Kinect worth $200
- Blu-Ray- $60
- DVR Built in $50
- That puts you way over $500 and that's not even everything, so you definitely get what you pay for and all of its advantages.

With all of this being said you don't even need a Tv, Pc/Laptop, or a Home Phone since your Xbox will do all of it. I haven't even scratched the surface of how great the Xbox One is and all the advantages of buying it are. I hope you enjoyed reading all of it and post a comment about your thoughts on it as well.

I had to create an account on here to highlight some of the blatant stupidity coming from people that have absolutely NO clue what they're talking about, for starters it doesn't even have a graphics card, the chip is built into the processor. I don't know why you think that DVR is a feature worth money seeing as it's entirely software based. I also can't believe that you're claiming that it does the job of a computer, it's a console not a PC you idiot.

Cost:
Processor (x8 @1.60 GHz) - $120 (Estimate)
Memory (8 GB DDR3) - $40
Wireless Adapter - $20 (I don't know what your thinking was)
Kinect - $100 (Exaggeration)
Hard Drive - $50
Optical Drive - $50
Other - $20 (Estimate for casing and such)

That comes to a total of $400 which is nowhere near your pricing, and that's granting that the Kinect sensor included is valued at that price (it won't be more than that), Sony has their sensor priced at $60, but generously doesn't force you to buy it seeing as nobody wants it, time to cover some of your other points.

1 - The console is in NO WAY a high end PC, it doesn't even have a dedicated graphics card, and the cloud processing thing is utter rubbish, On Live used cloud processing, remember how badly that failed?

2 - It's life span is irrelevant, because every console should have this kind of thing as standard, just because Xbox 360 had such a bad technical launch it doesn't mean that having a better one will be a good feature.

3 - Not a high end PC for the 3rd time, and Skype cannot be compared to a home phone, if anything it barely has the features of a mobile phone, it's a hassle to use in that way and I'm pretty sure that everyone with a games console has access to a phone, we haven't seen enough on Skype to make judgments yet. Sony introduced an internet browser into their system on launch, so Internet Explorer is irrelevant.

4 - The TV features are good as long as it doesn't interfere with anything else, it's nothing special seeing as most users don't need it, but I have no issue with it. There are no other benefits from media however.

5 - The Kinect is unnecessary and expensive, I don't want it and the same thing applies to most people out their, whether they're purchasing it or not.

I am purchasing neither console at release because I'm a PC gamer mainly, I'll probably purchase an Xbox One at some point for exclusives such as Halo, but for me that's all that it has going for it. If you're going to purchase a console use good justifications, whether you prefer the exclusives or are just used to the interface, I don't care, just be truthful and don't use crappy reasons that you pull out of your rear end.

Obviously you don't buy parts for Pcs because your estimates are amlost all wrong. The wireless chip itself is $100+ which you obviously have no clue of and Kinect is worth way more than maybe $100. Get your facts straight before posting. Thakyou

I'm gonna be honest. Xbox One is a mid to low teir PC-wise and everything about the console is weak.

AMD Jaguar 8-core is weak because all those cores compared to a FX chip which is about $80-$100 for a Quad core is weak. Also compared to the fact that the clock speed is 1.6Ghz just adds to it.

With all the GPU info we have on the XB1 the XB1's GPU is near a HD 7770 which is a low-teir card which is alright but not good.

2 HD Speakers can be bought for the PC for cheap. Hell MS will even allow Kinect 2.0 for purchase on PC.

All OS features can be replicated on PC and be better/perfected for free.

You can use a controller on PC and can make it work on all games (With the magic of Xpadder) and most likely the XB1 controller will easily work on the PC. Also, KB/M offers for better looking and such which can't be achieved on a controller.

I don't get where you got high-end PC from and you can easily build a PC with the amount your spending on a Xbox One with a game and XBL Gold that will be superior to it.

The Xbox One will still be a good console I just find it stupid that you even attempted to compare it to a console. The only value you will be getting is a Kinect which from a dev at id software said "The Kinect 2 is like a no button mouse with a bunch of input lag" whcih can tell you that the Kinect 2 will be just as bad as the Kinect 1. You can get the same if not better wireless chip for a PC for $60 or less.

That's all I'm saying.
