So my buddy was doing some stuff and apparently hit connect to xbl and he was running an ethernet so he did have an active connection going. It didn't work obvisouly but I read somewhere that if this happens you console is flagged within seconds and banned within minutes. He was kinda sketched out if his kv would get banned. Any help?

I connected before while having a wireless adapter and after a few months I used NXBLS and I wasn't banned until I started cheating on Halo. But to answer your question, he could be lucky and not get it banned or he might be unlucky and get it banned.
