Is it true that Windows 8 isn't successful? I really would like to have Windows 8 instead of 7. I'm kind of bored of Windows 7.

Windows 8 is amazing, if you know how to use a PC
There IS a "star" button (I think he meant the windows button), it's called Pokki, an awesome add-on you can install to the desktop which is just like the windows button only better
You can also customize it in a tonne of other ways, and much more than windows 7
You can also pin apps like facebook, youtube and email to the taskbar that open in their own window
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I mainly use the desktop, but the main start page (with the app boxes and stuff) are useful sometimes, for news and maps and the store, it's basically the same as the Xbox 360 homepages, just with more PC-based apps
It is a lot more complicated than Win8 (much much more stuff) but also much better in my opinion (after customization) the standalone windows 8 as you get it kinda sucks, but you can do so much with it to tailor it to your liking

Everyone that dislikes windows 8 are people that don't understand it. It is the best OS by far. It's so easy to use. If you want to find a program you press the windows key then type the name and boom there is you program, you will love the upgrade , trust me
