I swear from my experience on TTG, this forum site is probably the childish I've been on. There is a good amount of good, chill people on here but there is a great amount of childish people here that will argue over you over the smallest thing. I try to have civilized debates with some people but then they just resort to straight out insulting me for no reason. I try to ignore it but it's just so many of them all over the forum. I slowly stopped coming to this site less and less but coming back today it's just as bad as before.

I feel as if this website should have a more no-tolerance policy when it comes to some of the childish stuff I see on here. It's like the moderation/staff here is close to non-existent and I see that when some of the topics I see still are going on. I know this is a very big site but I feel as such more staff should be brought on that watch the site more or better more section moderators so they can enforce such rules more swiftly. This could also be flipped to the regular member on here that should use the report button more for certain things that are shown as breaking rules and/or just straight childish. I say the best example of zero-toleration is how NeoGAF runs. Any type of BS on that site and you will get perma-banned immediately.

Throughout everything I said, I'm not trying to bash TTG because at it's core it's a good forum site that has great popularity and such I just feel like more should be done to make this site a better place for the members instead of just "avoiding" members and such. If you read though all of this thanks for your time and I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Well, most of the kids on here are literally kids that leech off us. So, you have a valid point. But, a zero toleration is a little too much for this site. Just deal with it. If you want to leave, then leave. Simple as that.

I agree 100% I have been on this forum for 3 years now can not express how much I agree with you. When I first joined the only problem was the MW2 10th Lobbies were going crazy at the time, soooo many topics/posts. BUT all that spam and crap was kept in 1 place. Now over the course of 3 years it has migrated to everywhere.. Here is what my policy would be if I ran this site.

If you spam, I click Ban.. rhymes a bit doesn't it? (no pun intended with the 2nd rhyme)

There is no excuse to post links trying to advertise junk, or spam your youtube channel, etc, etc.

and that's just 1 issue on this site.

Thanks for reading! Hope you have a great day.

I too have been visiting less and less. But I mean what can they do, ban someone for talking trash...? The population on this site would be down by 60% if they did that...

Good post though, its well mannered and you didnt come off as a jerk.

The fact that this is in the wrong section demolishes all of your points... :coffee:

I somewhat agree with this. The zero tolerance policy would be too far. If its obvious someone joins the site to flame or advertise, then yes ban them. But if they get in an argument tell them what they did wrong. If it continues, ban.

It's in general discussion to be discussed with other members on these opinions. I wasn't intending to bring this straight up to the staff here yet.
