1.) If they have 1 post and no rep. They're probably not legit, im not saying this to all people that have 1 post but most likely are just trying to scam.
2.)if they are doing a recovery (means to recover ur information on your account) do not do this unless you know they are totally legit and have hosted lobbies in the past, they could possibly take ur account and easily buy things on ur parents or ur own credit card on your account.
3.)ask questions.
Q'S:What kind of JTAG do you have?
A: Usually One of these: Jasper,Falcon,Xenon,RGH,etc. if they name a jtag i didnt name look it up.
Q: Do you have a M9 Hash within ur JTAG?
A: If they answer ''yes'' they have failed.
Q:What patch are you running?
A: The patches that are recently out, Project Amber, project nuke, Project X, Black and Yellow V3, No Name V1, TU8. etc..
Q: Do You have Xbox Live Stealth?
A: This means that they need to have stealth.
You need to pay for stealth, its 80$ and people usually donate to make the lobby start.
4.)If they are asking for you to setup for a private match trickshotting its probably not legit. they are just saying this because they cant find a dunmmy themselves so they have to make someone from TTG setup and think there getting a challenge lobby.
5.)If they are asking for Gold (such as 3 month, 1 month or a Year of live) or MSP
such as 400, 800, 1600, 4000.
It's most likely not legit. it could be but probably not. you dont need msp to boot up ur jtag, u need donations, money for stealth not live or msp. they could already have stealth and just want msp or live, but that doesnt usually happen.
Well, that's it for now guys! I will be posting more things to help you guys out! stay smart and keep loving the tech game community!
Peace!

Its common sense really. Also no need to keep bumping your topic.
On the other hand still a good topic and I'm sure it will benefit some people.
