What error are you getting exactly?

1. Delete TU7 after you have installed TU8
2. Load Default.xex (Different file) *

* This could also be called the name of your mod menu.xex
(For example, mine is Black&Yellow.xex)

did u delete the old TU?
when it doesn't still works then delete the game and recopy it ;)

I have deleted the old tu! and have tried recopying the game but i get video and audio folders! erm can someone send me a menu they are using with the xex they have please!

Update:
I have reinstalled TU8, I go the files of XexBunny's Video. My mw2 loads up by the default.xex but when I press multiplayer, it says there is a game error and takes me back to the dash board. but at the same time at the bottom it comes up with a notification "xx james xx tu8 menu loaded" or something.

also, in the files I got from xex buuny there is default.xexp and default_mp.xexp Is that meant to in there?
This nis what I have in my MW2 folder:
Default.xex
Default.xexp
Default_mp.xex
Dfault_mp.xexp
dll.load.dll

So are you using the default_mp.exe and the dll_load.dll?

I am pressing default_mp.xex but that's when it says their is a game error, the dll_load.dll is a file and I cant click on it?

So you have both the dll_load.dll and default_mp.xex in your MW2 folder? and you also have TU8 installed, uhhhh have you tried getting the TU from FSD?

Yes Have both them in my MW2 folder, and TU8, (this is the one I have: TU_10LC20N_0000018000000.000000000020A)is in my cache. And I dont understand how to get tu from fsd. It has to be the default_mp.xex as thats whats giving me the error. Is there different defaults for a different menu?
